The Alti Pascoli della Lessinia project grew out of the desire to preserve, raise awareness and make farmers and the general public aware of the importance and value of the rural landscape that has been handed down. The aim is precisely to nominate the territory of the Alti Pascoli della Lessinia in the ""National Register of rural landscapes of historical interest, agricultural practices and traditional knowledge"" established by Decree no. 17070 of 2012.
It is a process of territorial analyses and studies in order to highlight the main significant elements present, all managed by an organising committee, with farms, technical experts, a press office and an organising secretariat for some events.
After lengthy work, the project application dossier was submitted to the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, which will soon be communicating its decision.

In 2019, the arrival of the last stage of the 102nd Giro d'Italia in Verona was an opportunity to activate the BLB project, an acronym for Baldo-Lessinia-Bike. Road and mountain bikes can find extraordinary landscapes on the roads and paths of Monte Baldo and Lessinia where they can experience sport, the passion for cycling and the opportunity to sample high-quality local products.
The GAL Baldo Lessinia development agency brought together a group of associations that organise cycling races and tourism experts, and also requested the participation of IAT Lessinia, to give life to this project based on sharing and promotion. The combination of sport and tourism is a winning formula for opening up to the public, for proposing our area as an ideal place for spending time together, with family and friends, and for enjoying a peaceful and healthy holiday.
To date, the BLB has distributed a brochure with tracks and routes for mountain biking, activated a portal with downloadable GPS tracks - BaldoLessiniaBike.com - and opened Facebook and Instagram profiles to help keep followers up-to-date on activities.
