The church of San Mauro di Saline is documented as far back as 1460, when it was already considered a parish church; in fact, its foundations are thought to date back to the 14th century. Following various expansions, it was rebuilt in its current form in 1835. During your visit, the paintings by the artist Rocco Pittaco merit a closer look, as do the semi-chapels and the painted starry sky ceiling in the barrel vault.
